In recent months, there have been constant reports of how payment service Apple Pay expands to more and more countries, or more and more banking institutions start to support it. In the United States, you can pay through it almost everywhere, in the rest of the world the spread of the service is different. Recently, it has been spreading more and more throughout Western and Northern Europe, and it is perhaps only a matter of time before it officially arrives in the Czech Republic, or to Slovakia.
In Europe, the service is available in Switzerland, France, Great Britain, Spain, Italy, Ireland and Russia. In recent weeks, information has appeared confirming that Apple Pay will reach Denmark, Finland, Sweden and the United Arab Emirates by the end of the year. Another rather interesting piece of information appeared yesterday that the Netherlands and Poland should add to this group of countries. In the Netherlands, ING and Bunq will take care of the arrival of the service, it is not yet known who will bring the service to Poland, although a picture showing Apple Pay in Polish with the support of Bank Polski appeared on the website.
Foreign websites that came up with this information speculate that Apple will announce the next expansion wave for Apple Pay as early as November 2, during a conference call with shareholders, which will be held as part of the evaluation of economic results for the last quarter. As the number of unsupported countries continues to decrease, Apple Pay could finally appear in our country.

As fast as Siri? :-)))
In my opinion, siri depends on how often people use siri to dictate text, this is how siri collects data, various pronunciations, words, etc... and when apple has enough data, they will also start siri in the Czech language... but that's just my theory: D
The main files will be relevant geographic data – sports results, cinema programs, travel advice, a network of restaurants and shops with opening doors.
even our national number one list has a problem negotiating these dates
I know what you mean, but it's gradually starting to work, at least in the Czech Republic, in Prague, when I'm in Prague, apple maps have access to the tram, bus, metro.. and it's cool if you can navigate and on foot it will guide you to the bus, etc.
Yelp also works as well or it will show you road closures and approximately how long it will be..
There is more data there than in Slovakia, for example.
Well, um, 1 bank in 4 to speak of supports it in Ireland.
Is there any possibility to open an account in these countries and thus get a card that supports apple pay? Does anyone have experience with this?
I would be interested too.
It will be easiest to create an account after the introduction of Apple Pay in Germany. Some German banks have German branches (with the option of a German account) on Czech territory (I suspect, for example, in Pilsen), or in the border area. Keeping an account can be found to be zero, but we probably won't avoid the card payment fee (a transaction made abroad, which is often charged by foreign banks). And the transfer fee to a German account (foreign payment from a Czech bank). But that can be solved with an occasional trip to Dresden to shop at Primark. :D
