The end of the year is slowly approaching and with it various balances, evaluations and memories. They are very popular on various platforms, be it YouTube or Instagram. Apple Music is no exception, which this week received a new function called Replay. Thanks to it, users can remember what music they listened to this year.

The feature is available on the web, in the Music app for macOS, and on devices with iOS and iPadOS, and within it users can listen not only to the most popular songs from this year, but also from the past - a playlist will be available for each year that had the concerned Apple Music prepaid service until 2015. Users can add playlists to their library, play them and share them with other users.

As part of Replay, all users' memory playlists should be updated annually, evolving and changing as the listener's tastes and interests change. New songs and data reflecting listener activity within the Apple Music service should be added regularly to the Replay playlist every Sunday.

The list of the most popular and most listened songs for the past year is new to Apple Music. As for the competitor Spotify, users had the Wrapped feature available, but there were no regular updates. Replay may not yet be available globally on all platforms.
