A year after its launch, Apple Music will see a complete overhaul both in terms of design and functional equipment. In a new guise, this service will appear on this year's developer conference WWDC and will reach users in the final version in the fall as part of the new iOS 10 operating system.

The transformation of Apple Music has been on the agenda of the Cupertino giant since the end of last year, and two factors are primarily responsible for this. The reaction of users, where a significant part of them complained about the often confusing interface, which is occupied by too much information, and a certain "cultural clash" within the company, which caused the departure of key managers.

With these factors in mind, the company has come up with a changed team that will be in charge of the new version of the music streaming service. The main members are Robert Kondrk and Trent Reznor, the frontman of Nine Inch Nails. Head of Design Jony Ive, Senior Vice President of Internet Services Eddy Cue and Jimmy Iovine, co-founder of Beats Electronics are also present. It was the combination of Apple and Beats that was supposed to bring about the aforementioned "culture clash" and apparently too many conflicting opinions.

Less than a year after the official launch of the service, everything should already be resolved, and the new management team is tasked with presenting a new, much more user-friendly service. Be the first to hear about upcoming news in Apple Music informed magazine Bloomberg, but while he informed only vaguely, a few hours later already he rushed with detailed information about the changes Mark Gurman z 9to5Mac.

The biggest change will be a redesigned user interface. This should no longer work on the basis of a colorful and transparent appearance, but on a simple design favoring a black and white background and text. According to people who have already had the opportunity to see the new version, when previewing the albums, the color change will not occur based on the color design of the specific album, but the given cover will only be noticeably enlarged and, in a certain sense, "cover" the unattractive black and white combination of the interface.

This transformation will enhance and simplify the overall impression of use even more. Furthermore, the new version of Apple Music should use the new San Francisco font even more effectively, so the important items should be bigger and more prominent. After all, San Francisco intends to expand Apple more into its other applications as well. As for Beats 1 online radio, that should remain more or less unchanged.

In terms of functional equipment, Apple Music will also offer some new features. 3D Touch will get more options, and many listeners will certainly welcome the built-in song lyrics, which have been missing in Apple Music until now. There will also be a change to the "News" tab, which will be replaced by a "Browse" section to better organize charts of popular songs, genres and upcoming music releases.

What remains unchanged in terms of functionality is the "For You" section, which works on the principle of recommending songs, albums, music videos and artists. Even if it is to be redesigned in appearance, it will still use the same algorithm that today's users are used to.

Bloomberg 9to5Mac have confirmed that the new version of Apple Music will be presented next month at the traditional developer conference WWDC. The full update will be part of the upcoming iOS 10 operating system, which will arrive in the fall. It will be available to developers and beta testers as part of the new iOS this summer. The new Apple Music will also be available on Mac when the new iTunes 12.4 is introduced, which will also be available in the summer. However, it will not be a significant change to the entire application, the new iTunes will probably not come until next year.
