In this regular column, every day we look at the most interesting news that revolves around the California company Apple. Here we focus exclusively on the main events and selected (interesting) speculations. So if you are interested in current events and want to be informed about the apple world, definitely spend a few minutes on the following paragraphs.

Popular Homebrew takes aim at Apple Silicon

The very popular Homebrew package manager, which many different developers rely on every day, has today received a major update with the designation 3.0.0 and finally offers native support on Macs with chips from the Apple Silicon family. We could partially compare Homebrew to the Mac App Store, for example. It is a multi-package manager that allows users to quickly and easily install, uninstall, and update applications through the Terminal.

The sensors on the bottom of the first Apple Watch could have looked completely different

If you're regularly interested in what's happening around Apple, you've surely not missed the Twitter account of a user named Giulio Zompetti. Through his posts, he once in a while shares photos of old Apple products, namely their first prototypes, which gives us an insight into how Apple products could actually look. In today's post, Zompetti focused on the prototype of the very first Apple Watch, where we can notice drastic changes in the case of the sensors on their underside.

The first Apple Watch and the newly released prototype:

The aforementioned first generation boasted four individual heart rate sensors. However, in the images attached above, you can notice that there are three sensors on the prototype, which are also considerably larger, and their horizontal arrangement is also worth mentioning. However, it is possible that there are actually four sensors involved. Indeed, if we take a good look at the very center, it seems as if these are two smaller sensors inside one cut-out. The prototype continues to offer only one speaker, while a version with two has gone on sale. The microphone then looks unchanged. Aside from the sensors, the prototype is no different from the real product.

Another change is the text on the back of the apple watch, which is "put together" a little differently. Graphic designers even noticed that Apple toyed with the idea of using two font styles. The serial number is engraved in the Myriad Pro font, which we are used to especially from older Apple products, while the rest of the text already uses the standard San Francisco Compact. The Cupertino company probably wanted to test what such a combination would look like. This theory is also confirmed by the inscription "ABC 789” in the upper corner. In the upper left corner we can still notice an interesting icon - but the problem is that no one knows what this icon represents.

The absolute top of the field will participate in the Apple Car

In recent weeks, we have increasingly encountered interesting information regarding the upcoming Apple Car. While a few months ago, few people remembered this project, practically no one mentioned it, so now we can literally read about one speculation after another. The biggest gem was then the information about the cooperation of the Cupertino giant together with the Hyundai car company. To make matters worse, we received another very interesting news, according to which it can be clear to us immediately that Apple is more than serious about the Apple Car. The absolute top of the field will participate in the production of the apple electric car.

Manfred harrer

Apple reportedly managed to employ an expert named Manfred Harrer, who, among other things, worked in the highest positions at Porsche for more than 10 years. Harrer is even considered one of the greatest experts in the development of automotive chassis within the Volkswagen Group concern. Within the concern, he focused on the development of the chassis for the Porsche Cayenne, while in the past he even worked at BMW and Audi.
