The Apple Watch has enjoyed immense popularity since its launch. Apple is reportedly now toying with the idea of a new model that would provide significantly higher resistance to Apple users and thus primarily target fans of extreme sports. Another news of the day is a fix for Siri Shortcuts. For the last few days, it was not possible to launch shortcuts that were shared via iCloud.

Apple is considering introducing a more durable Apple Watch for the needs of extreme sports

The Apple Watch is undoubtedly one of the most popular smartwatches ever, and rightfully so. They offer excellent integration with the entire ecosystem, a number of great functions and a simple design. In any case, only one thing remains true. This is not an unbreakable product and it often takes very little and accidents happen. I myself met a person who completely canceled his "Watches" during one tennis match. According to the latest information from the well-respected Bloomberg portal, Apple intends to work on this, or rather is toying with such an idea for the time being.

The Cupertino company is now said to be in the thinking and planning phase where they are considering launching a significantly more durable watch for extreme sports needs that would offer a rubberized case. In addition, Bloomberg's sources say that if this product gets the green light, we could see its introduction at the end of this year, possibly in 2022. Apple reportedly toyed with the same idea back in 2015, that is, even before the first Apple Watch was seen the light of the world. If we were to see the realization of this project now, we could expect that it would be the launch of a new model that would be sold alongside classic watches, similar to watches from the Nike collection. At the same time, Bloomberg draws attention to one thing. The whole process is still only "on paper" and it is therefore possible that we will never actually see it. How would you welcome a more durable Apple Watch?

Apple fixed a bug that caused Siri Shortcuts shared via iCloud to not work

On mobile devices from Apple, there is a rather interesting application called Shortcuts for Siri. It opens the door to a world of unprecedented possibilities for apple growers, which you would not even be able to solve otherwise. If you're a regular user of these shortcuts, you may have noticed this week that some of them, which are shared via iCloud, have stopped working completely. Fortunately, Apple also commented on the whole situation relatively quickly. According to him, it was an error on the part of their servers, which affected the functionality of only older shortcuts shared through the aforementioned iCloud.

What Shortcuts for Siri look like:

Users first started speculating that if it wasn't a bug, they might also have expired. However, the whole problem was solved relatively quickly by the Cupertino company and it is already possible to use Shortcuts for Siri again without the slightest problem. If you haven't tried this application yet and would like to explore its possibilities, we can recommend our series in which we show you the most interesting shortcuts.
