In this regular column, every day we look at the most interesting news that revolves around the California company Apple. Here we focus exclusively on the main events and selected (interesting) speculations. So if you are interested in current events and want to be informed about the apple world, definitely spend a few minutes on the following paragraphs.

Apple has confirmed the end of sales of the iMac Pro

In the offer of apple computers, we can find several different models that differ in their characteristics, size, type and purpose. The second most professional choice from the offer is the iMac Pro, which is not really talked about much. This model has not received any improvements since its introduction in 2017 and many users did not prefer it. Apple has probably decided to stop selling it now for these reasons. Currently, the product is available directly on the apple Online Store, but the text is written next to it: "While supplies last."

Apple commented on the whole situation with the words that as soon as the last pieces are sold out, the sale will be completely ended and you will no longer be able to get a new iMac Pro. Instead, he directly recommends apple buyers to reach for the 27″ iMac, which was introduced to the world in August 2020 and is a very preferred option. Moreover, in the case of this model, users can choose the configuration much better and thus achieve higher performance. This mentioned apple computer offers a 5K display with True Tone support, while for an additional fee of 15 thousand crowns you can reach for a version with glass with nanotexture. It still offers up to a 9th generation Intel Core i10 ten-core processor, 128GB of RAM, 8TB of storage, a dedicated AMD Radeon Pro 5700 XT graphics card, a FullHD camera and better speakers along with microphones. You can also pay extra for a 10Gb Ethernet port.

It is also possible that there will simply be no place for the iMac Pro in Apple's menu. In recent months, there has been a lot of talk about the arrival of a redesigned iMac with a new generation of chips from the Apple Silicon family, which will approach the high-end Apple Pro Display XDR monitor in terms of design. The Cupertino company should present this product later this year.

Apple is working on smart contact lenses

Virtual (VR) and augmented reality (AR) are hugely popular these days, which can provide us with a significant amount of entertainment in the form of games, or make our lives easier, for example when measuring. In connection with Apple, there have been talks about the development of a smart AR headset and smart glasses for several months. Today, a very interesting piece of news started spreading on the Internet, which originates from the renowned analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. In his letter to investors, he pointed to Apple's upcoming plans for AR and VR products.

According to his information, we should expect the introduction of an AR/VR headset already next year, with the arrival of AR glasses then dating to 2025. At the same time, he also mentions that the Cupertino company is working on the development of smart contact lenses working with augmented reality, which could make an incredible difference world. Although Kuo did not add any further information on this point, it is clear that the lenses, unlike a headset or glasses, would offer a significantly better experience of the augmented reality itself, which would subsequently be much more "lively." These lenses, at least in their beginnings, would be completely dependent on the iPhone, which would lend them both storage and processing power.

Apple is said to be interested in the field of "invisible computing," which many analysts say is the successor to the current era of "visible computing." Smart contact lenses could eventually be introduced in the 30s. Would you be interested in a similar product?
