Apple according to the report The Wall Street Journal negotiates with other manufacturers and factories. He would like to have the iPhone and iPad manufactured outside of China's Foxconn. The reason for this is insufficient production, which is far from covering the huge demand. iPhone 5s stocks are still in short supply, and the new iPad mini is also likely to be in short supply.

Foxconn will continue to remain Apple's primary factory, but its production will also be supported by two other factories in parallel. The first of them is the Wistron factory, in which the production of additional iPhone 5c models should start from the end of this year. The second factory is Compal Communications, which will begin production of new iPad minis in early 2014.

Apple has a problem with supplying a sufficient amount of goods and satisfying the demand for new phones every year, and this year is no different. It turns out that there are enough 5c models for now, but getting a top-model iPhone 5s at the moment is a real miracle. Apparently, Apple will have the same problem with the new iPad mini, because for the time being it is not possible to produce enough Retina displays for the second generation of the smaller tablet.

Demand for the iPhone 5s is said to be much higher than expected and extremely difficult to satisfy. Production cannot be strengthened overnight. Apparently, Foxconn cannot meet Apple's requirements, and it is not possible for Cupertino to start production outside of Hon Hai (Foxconn's headquarters) immediately. The slight improvement could be due to reduced production of the cheaper 5c model, which is now made at both Foxconn and Pegatron, another Apple manufacturing plant. By reducing the production of this model, which is not so enormously in demand, certain production capacities could be freed up for Apple's flagship with the designation 5s.

The factories that Apple soon plans to use to its advantage are certainly no newcomers to the industry. Wistron already makes smartphones for Nokia and BlackBerry. Compal Communications also supplies phones for Nokia and Sony and also focuses on the production of Lenovo tablets. Neither of these Apple factories is likely to help supply enough goods during the Christmas holidays. However, their contribution should be shown later.
