As the name suggests, it's about updating statuses on social networks, simply and quickly. In addition, the useful application does not only support the most famous Twitter and Facebook.
Update can't do much. It will not replace any client for you. It just lets you send a tweet or update a Facebook status quite easily. In addition, Update can also deal with LinkedIn, Google Buzz and the lesser-known network Hyves, which is popular in the Netherlands. A single screen is enough for everything. All the action takes place right here. You write your message in it and choose which network you want to send it to. You will only use another screen (mostly at the first start) when you need to log in to selected networks. There is also location indication or URL shortening. Nothing more, nothing less.
If you haven't thought of it yet, Update can be a great solution for those who want to write the same messages on Twitter and Facebook. There are other ways to do this, for example, some use so-called selective tweets or have both accounts linked, but if you don't want to use any of that, Update is an excellent and simple solution.
For less than a dollar or a euro, you can get a smart application for which some will surely be happy to pay, while others will just wave their hand. It's worth a try though.
