Apple picker Play.cz was one of the first Czech applications in the App Store and, in its time, achieved considerable success in the Czech version of the application store. The internet radio player has been waiting a long time for an update that would bring not only an updated look, but also background music playback. She finally arrived.
The application has kept a simple interface, similar to the first version. After starting, it will offer a list of available radios, in which you can search not only by name, but also by style. Individual radio stations can then be saved to favorites, which you access from the player's main screen. You will also find contact information and quick links to social networks with the radio stations. If the station supports it, you will always see the currently playing song in the player, and after clicking on the icon in the orange bar, you will also see the last ten songs played, including links to iTunes, if you want to buy the song.
The radios will offer up to three types of bitrate stream, which can be switched between in the application, so you can save data on the mobile connection or, on the contrary, use higher quality audio on Wi-Fi. Play.cz also has the option to set a timer if you want to fall asleep while listening to internet radio. Against the original version, the time can be set arbitrarily after five minutes.
Finally, in Play.cz you will also find a simple reader of the latest music news from the web. The application is completely free in the App Store, but with an advertising banner at the bottom. Considering that you let Play.cz play background music most of the time anyway, advertising probably won't bother you too much.

Well, I have the original paid PLAY.CZ application, and there is no update. I don't want this free with ads.
