Dan Pražák Apple somewhat unexpectedly yesterday introduced AirPods Pro, the new generation of its wireless headphones, which gets the function of active noise cancellation (ANC), water resistance, better sound reproduction and also a new design to some extent. Even though AirPods Pro will not go on sale until tomorrow, Apple has given them a test ahead of time to selected YouTubers who, through their videos, give us a glimpse of the contents of the package and summarize the very first impressions of the headphones after a few hours of use.
The alpha and omega of the new AirPods Pro is clearly the function of active suppression of ambient noise. Here in his video, YouTuber Marques Brownlee, who is probably the most famous tech at the moment, highlights the fact that the new product works better than he originally expected. In this respect, AirPods Pro are said to be comparable to the Beats Solo Pro headphones to some extent, which Apple announced last week. However, in his opinion, noise cancellation is unlikely to be sufficient for aircraft noise. But Marques will be able to say more only after longer testing, which he will summarize in the final review.

The video also shows us the news inside the package. The customer will now receive a Lightning cable with USB-C for AirPods Pro, while until now Apple has included a classic Lightning to USB-A cable with its headphones. The box also includes two more pairs of silicone plugs (sizes S and L), while one more pair (size M) is placed directly on the headphones, which are located in the charging case.
Even the first pairing of the headphones with the iPhone is different to some extent. However, all you have to do is open the case near the phone and connect the headphones with one button. Newly, however, instructional videos appear immediately after pairing, thanks to which the user learns how to use gestures to control the headphones and, above all, how to activate/deactivate the ANC function. Even more interesting is the new function where the user can test whether he is using the correct size of rubber plugs. The headphones are able to use the internal microphone to determine if they fit well in the ear and if the active noise cancellation is working correctly.
YouTubers iJustine and SuperSaf also got their hands on the new AirPods Pro. They also show the contents of the package, the first pairing of the headphones with the iPhone and share their first impressions. iJustine even had time to test the headphones on an airplane and notes that even in such a busy environment, the active noise cancellation did a great job and filtered out practically all unwanted sounds.
AirPods Pro will go on sale tomorrow, Wednesday, October 30, and their price on the Czech market has risen to 7 CZK. As of yesterday evening, it is possible to pre-order the headphones on Apple's website, but the delivery time is constantly being extended, and the delivery time is currently set for November 290 to 6. However, pre-orders are already offered by Czech authorized Apple dealers, and you can order headphones, for example, already on Alza.cz.
