We hear practically nothing but words of praise for the new AirPods Pro, especially because of the ambient noise cancellation function, the permeability mode and better sound reproduction. Even according to the renowned website Consumer Reports, AirPods Pro are better than their predecessors, but they still fall short of the quality of Samsung's Galaxy Buds.

Already the second generation of AirPods, which Apple introduced this spring, it finished second in the Consumer Reports test, far beyond the Galaxy Buds. The lower rating was due to several factors, but the most important one was the quality of sound reproduction. The same is true now with AirPods Pro. While the server acknowledges that Apple's new headphones have really good sound (compared to other completely wireless headphones), they still aren't good enough to compete with Samsung.

Consumer Reports in your review however, he states that if you combine better sound with additional features and superior connectivity with Apple products, AirPods Pro are a great choice. The server particularly highlights the new bandwidth mode, which Apple did not invent, but it is said to have managed to implement it really well in its headphones.

In the overall evaluation, AirPods Pro earned 75 points from Consumer Reports. For comparison, Samsung's Galaxy Buds currently top the list of completely wireless earbuds with 86 points, and Amazon's Echo Buds recently earned 65 points, while also featuring ambient noise cancellation.

Despite the slightly worse sound compared to the Galaxy Buds, the new AirPods Pro will be the number one choice for most Apple users, mainly due to their association with Apple products. In their favor is the fact that, compared to headphones from Samsung, it offers ANC, which will come in handy especially when traveling.
