Although it may seem that the firmware for AirPods is simply not interesting, the opposite is true. We got two great gadgets. So let's quickly summarize them. AirPods can now recognize which device you are currently using. For example, if you are watching a movie on your iPad and you receive a call on your iPhone, the Apple headphones will automatically switch and allow you to continue the call.
Another gadget is called Spatial Audio. This feature only targets AirPods Pro and they will provide surround sound to its user. In cooperation with your device, the headphones recognize the direction from which the sound should flow and adapt the overall output accordingly. In addition, the Spatial Audio function is always activated automatically when you watch a video that offers Dolby 5.1 or 7.1 sound. The only condition is that you watch the content on a device with one of the new operating systems.
