Not much is happening in the IT world at the moment, but there are still some news that might interest you. In this article, we will look together at the release of Adobe Premiere and Photoshop Elements 2021, and in the next part of the article, we will focus on an interesting step from Microsoft, which is directed against Apple. What's new in Photoshop Elements 2021
As for Photoshop Elements 2021, we got several great features. For example, we can mention the Moving Photos function, which can add the effect of movement to classic still photos. Thanks to Motion Photos, you can create animated GIFs with 2D or 3D camera movement - this feature is, of course, powered by Adobe Sensei. We can also mention, for example, the Face Tilt function, thanks to which you can easily straighten a person's face in photos. This is especially useful for group photos, in which there is often someone who is not looking into the lens. In addition, in the new update you can use several great templates for adding text and graphics to photos. There are also new tutorials designed to improve users and much more.
What's new in Premiere Elements 2021
If you are more interested in simple video editing, then you will definitely like Premiere Elements 2021. As part of the new update of this program, users can look forward to the Select Object function, thanks to which an effect can be applied only to a selected part of the video. This function can then also use intelligent tracking, so the effect area snaps and stays in the right place. We can also mention the GPU Accelerated Performance function, thanks to which users can view visual effects without the need for rendering. In addition, you will also recognize the function when editing or trimming a video - overall, these processes take much less time. Adobe is also adding 2021 audio tracks to Premiere Elements 21 that users can easily add to their videos. There are also new tools for creating albums, keywords, tags and much more.

Microsoft is secretly attacking Apple
If you have been following the events in the IT world in recent weeks, i.e. in the world of technological giants, you have probably noticed the "battle" between Apple and the game studio Epic Games, which is behind the popular game Fortnite. At that time, Epic Games violated the rules of the App Store in the game Fortnite, and later it turned out that this was a move against Apple, which, according to Epic Games, should have abused its monopoly position. In this case, the technological giants could take either the side of Apple or the side of Epic Games. Since then, Apple has often been criticized from many quarters for creating a monopoly, for not caring about developers and stifling innovation, and for users having no choice as iOS and iPadOS devices can only install apps from the App Store. Microsoft decided to respond to this and updated its app store today, including its terms. Adds 10 new rules that support "choice, equity and innovation".

Specifically, in this post he states: “For software developers, app stores have become an important gateway to the world's most popular digital platforms. We and other companies have raised concerns about business from other companies, on other digital platforms. We recognize that we should practice what we preach, so today we're adopting 10 new rules from the Coalition for App Fairness to give users choice, to preserve fairness, and to encourage innovation in the most popular Windows 10 system.”
In addition, Alaily states that Windows 10, unlike others, is a completely open platform. Therefore, developers are free to choose how to distribute their applications - one way is the official Microsoft Store, which brings certain benefits to consumers. The application in the Microsoft Store must meet strict privacy and security standards, so that it does not happen that the consumer downloads a harmful application. Of course, developers can release their applications in any other way, release through the Microsoft Store is not a condition for the applications to work. Among other things, Microsoft has "taken a dig" at the apple company due to the fact that it cannot place its xCloud application in the App Store, which allegedly violates the rules.
Did MS update its store? The one that has been dead for many years and many applications were updated 3-5 years ago :)

I would be quiet in the place of MS. In Win10, their super update cannot be turned off permanently. This is also a possibility of choice by MS :-)
Ms forgot to say that they make the site on Win10 like Apple on MacOS. Also, signed applications are necessary, and I won't even describe what a hassle it is to install an unsigned driver for an old scanner on Win10, for example. I can install whatever I want on MacOS even without a signature, it's my own risk. Of course, if only 64-bit applications are required, it can be a problem, but at least the mess in applications and various libraries will be clarified.
MS probably forgot to say that since they don't have a mobile OS and are completely lost there, there were hardly any applications on their super Windows for mobiles. It's wise when there's nothing to choose from :-)
What I don't want on my OS and iPhone is an antivirus and similar cool conveniences on the Win platform.
Somehow I have the feeling that everyone here is wondering how Apple should do it if they knew how to do it. At least we know that Apple does it relatively well, even if we know what to blame them for, if that's the case with all series. Recently, they laughed at everything from the iPhone, iPad, etc. And now they say how it should be.
