The iPhone 14 Pro (Max) brought a number of great novelties, of which the Dynamic Island, a better camera, an always-on display and a more powerful Apple A16 Bionic chipset are attracting the most attention. Most often, there is talk about the removed cutout, for which Apple faced a lot of criticism for many years, even from its own apple lovers. That is why users welcomed the new Dynamic Island shot with enthusiasm. The connection with the software also bears a huge credit for this, thanks to which this "island" can dynamically change according to specific content.

However, we have already covered these news in our earlier articles. Now we will therefore shine a light together on something that is not talked about among apple growers, although it plays a rather important role. As Apple itself mentioned during the presentation, the iPhone 14 Pro (Max) photo system is now even more Pro, as it offers a lot of gadgets that take its operation several levels forward. One of them is just brand new adaptive True Tone flash.

Adaptive True Tone flash

As we mentioned above, the new iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max received a redesigned flash, which is now called adaptive True Tone flash. First of all, Apple presented that in certain conditions it can take care of up to twice the lighting compared to previous generations, which can also take care of a significantly higher quality of the resulting photos. After all, we could already see it during the keynote itself. When Apple talked about the redesigned flash, it immediately showed the results of its work, which you can view in the gallery below.

Let's briefly focus on how the adaptive True Tone flash actually works. Specifically, this novelty is based on a field of nine LEDs, the main advantage of which is that they can change their pattern according to specific needs. Of course, for these changes, it is necessary to work with some input data, according to which the configuration takes place subsequently. In that case, it always depends on the focal length of the given photo, which is the alpha and omega for adjusting the flash itself.

Flash share for higher quality photos

Apple itself emphasized during its presentation that its new photo module in the iPhone 14 Pro (Max) is even more Pro. The completely redesigned adaptive True Tone flash certainly plays its part in this. When we put it together with larger lens sensors and the ability to take better quality pictures in less well-lit conditions, it is certain that we will get significantly better results. And you can see them at first glance. Cameras have simply been successful for Apple this year. Apple owes this primarily to a great combination of hardware and software, to which another coprocessor called the Photonic Engine was added this year. If you are interested in how the new iPhone 14 (Pro) series performs in terms of photography, then you should definitely not miss the photo test attached below.
