There are many mobile phones in the world that support dual SIM, i.e. 2 SIM cards. Well, let's be honest, most of these devices are intended for the Asian market, and the iPhone is probably the least likely device from which you could expect dual SIM support.
However, USBFever comes up with a solution that adds this option to the iPhone. The solution consists in an additional cover with a built-in adapter into which a second SIM card is inserted. Yes, you read that right. SIM card, not microSIM! Currently, you can only use one SIM card, but the most interesting thing about all this is the fact that you can choose between SIM cards directly in iPhone Settings! The manufacturer's website states that switching can take 1-2 minutes.
iOS4 is required for the full functionality of this adapter, and iOS4.0.2 is already supported. As for the appearance, let's judge it for ourselves, but in my opinion, the manufacturer could have chosen a non-translucent packaging, because this way you can see the "guts" of the adapter during the entire operation, which does not look very elegant.
Well, in any case, the price is more than acceptable - $28,99. The USBFever company has sent shipments all over the world, so if you are interested in the product, there is nothing easier than to get it through official page to purchase.

I never fully figured out the benefits of two SIMs in one phone. I would say that there will always be half of the people who do not allow you.
I think it's stupid.
If I can't be at the reception with both sims - which I can't - then it's useless.
and the feeling that something is wrong with my mobile phone is priceless....
I don't understand how someone can tune out an iPhone like this...
I have been using the SimEmu program for several years and I have 6 different mobile numbers on my SIM card - work, private, secret, tariff and prepaid. I have cards in several designs - in several devices. It works 100%. At the moment I see this as the only solution when I have a MicroSim sized card in my iPad and a normal sized one in my iPhone 3GS and I use the O2 Neon plan with data. When I want to use the data on the iPad, I put the iPhone in flight mode and turn on data on the iPad in the menu. After turning off the data on the iPad, I turn off flight mode and the iPhone logs into the network again. 2 devices with the same KI SIM identification cannot be registered in the network - that's clear.
Until our operators offer DUAL SIM in the form of Micro+Normal SIM or Micro+Micro SIM, I don't see any other solution if I want to use one tariff for both devices.
I can prove that I am not imagining things:

Hi,
can you pls describe more precisely how it works? Does that mean if I install SimEmu and split it up I will have 2 sims working at the same time? I mean in terms of receiving calls.
Thanks
For example, I have a company SIM, we have blocked mobile data. So when I need to, I'm fucked. So a second sim is fine.
I've never seen a piglet before!
I'm sorry that no good phone (iPhone, Sony Ericsson Xperia, Samsung Wave, Samsung Galaxy, HTC Desire, etc...) supports 2 sims at once....it's NOT that hard to add support for a second sim... and still carry two Phones don't bother me twice either :-/
So buy some kind of dual phone, right? ;-)
