For most users of Apple products, the native Mail application that comes pre-installed on iPhones is sufficient. However, we can find many very successful alternatives in the App Store, including Outlook from Microsoft. We will show you 5 functions that will make using this application much more pleasant.

Turn off priority inbox

Outlook automatically sorts messages into the Priority Inbox and Other Inbox sections. However, if you don't like this sorting for some reason, you can simply turn it off. Just select the icon at the top Offer, in that go to Settings and here turn off switch Priority Inbox. You will have all the messages together.

Do not disturb mode

If you need to focus on work and don't want to be distracted by emails, this is no problem in Outlook. Just select again offer, in that tap on Do not disturb and set the parameters here. Do not disturb can be turned on until you turn it off, for one hour, until the next morning or evening, or it can turn on automatically on weekdays or weekends.

Automatic signature settings

If you are tired of signing all the time, Outlook will solve it for you. Just select the option again Offer, from that go to Settings and drive a little lower to the option Signature. If in addition you activate switch Signature for individual accounts, you can set a signature for each account separately.

Changing the calendar view

Outlook is not only an email client, but also a service that you can use as a calendar. If you don't like the default view of the agenda, you can change it by selecting the panel at the bottom Kalendář and after opening tap on Change view. Here you can choose from Agenda, Day, 3 days or Month.

Application security

If you want to be sure that no one can access your emails or calendar, Outlook is quite easy to secure. At the top, tap the icon Offer, move to Settings, go a little lower and turn on switch Require Touch ID/Face ID, depending on what phone security you have. From now on, you'll sign in to Outlook with your fingerprint or face.
