As soon as you decide to pair your AirTag with your iPhone, you can choose the name of the object to which you will attach the tracking tag. Thanks to this, an AirTag name is automatically created for you, but you can customize it immediately. If you have already paired the AirTag with your Apple phone and would like to rename it again or change the object to which the tag is attached, it is not difficult. Just go to the app Find, where at the bottom tap on subjects, and then select AirTag, that you want to rename. Then pull the panel up and tap at the bottom Rename. Then that's enough choose a subject or title and confirm the changes by tapping on Done at the top right.

Determining the state of charge
Apple used a CR2032 button cell battery for its location tags, which can supply AirTag with juice for up to one year. If you would like to find out the exact percentage of the battery charge, you will unfortunately not be able to do so. On the other hand, there is a procedure by which the state of charge of the battery can be determined at least approximately, through the battery icon. You can find this icon by going to the native app Find, where you tap on the section at the bottom Subjects. Then find in the menu AirTags, for which you want to check the charge status and tap it. Directly under the name and current location already battery icon you will find.
Loss mode
If you somehow manage to lose an item that was equipped with an AirTag, nothing is lost. Of course, you can start searching for the item by going to Find -> Subjects, where for AirTag select the option Navigate whether Find. If you can't find the item, you should activate lost mode as soon as possible. You can achieve this by Find -> Subjects click on a specific one AirTags, and then click the box next to it Turn on at the section Lost. Then just tap on Continue, enter contact information, activate the notification of the find, tap on the top right Activate and hope that the item will be returned to you with the AirTag. Once you've activated lost mode, it can be read by any device using NFC to display your contact information.

Battery replacement
As mentioned above, AirTags can last about a year with a single button battery. Whether it's more or less in your case, you'll get a notification at the right time to alert you to a low battery. Thanks to this, you will be able to replace the battery in time before it runs out, so you do not have to worry about not being able to locate the AirTag if it is lost. As for changing the battery, it is definitely not complicated. It is enough to separate the metal part of the AirTag from the plastic part by turning it counter-clockwise, then pull out the battery in the classic way and insert a new one. The positive side of the battery goes upwards in this case. As soon as you insert the battery correctly, you will hear a "click", which confirms the correct insertion. Then all you have to do is "close" the AirTag again with the metal part and turn it clockwise.
Correct removal
If after some time you decide that AirTags are not the right product for you and you decide to sell them or donate them to your family, it is necessary that you properly remove them from your account. If you do not perform this procedure correctly, it will not be possible to assign the AirTag to another Apple ID. To properly remove AirTag, you need to go into the app Find, where at the bottom click on the section Subjects. Now tap on AirTags, that you want to delete, then press the button at the bottom Delete item. Another window will appear where press Remove, and then tap again to confirm the action Remove.
