Recently deleted messages

It is quite possible that you have ever found yourself in a situation where you managed to delete a message or even an entire conversation in Messages. Mistakes just happen, but the problem is that Messages simply won't forgive you for them. In contrast, Photos, for example, places all deleted content in the Recently Deleted album for 30 days, from where you can restore it. Anyway, the good news is that in iOS 16, this Recently Deleted section is also coming to Messages. So whether you delete a message or a conversation, you'll always be able to restore it for 30 days. Just tap on the top left to view Edit → View Recently Deleted, if you have active filters, so Filters → Recently Deleted.

However, in iOS 16, these filters have been expanded, which many of you will definitely appreciate. Mark as unread

As soon as you click on any message in the Messages application, it is automatically marked as read. But the problem is that from time to time it can happen that you open the message by mistake and you don't have time to read it. Even so, it will be marked as read and there is a high probability that you will forget about it. In iOS 16, it is now possible to re-mark a conversation that you have read as unread. All you have to do is move to the Messages app where after a conversation, swipe from left to right. You can also mark an unread message as read.

Content you collaborate on

Within Apple operating systems, you can share content or data in various applications - for example in Notes, Reminders, Files, etc. If you would like to view all the content and data on which you collaborate with a specific person in bulk, then in iOS 16 you can, and it in the app News.
