In just a few tens of minutes, we will finally see the release of public versions of new operating systems from Apple. Specifically, Apple will come with iOS and iPadOS 15, watchOS 8 and tvOS 15. As for macOS 12 Monterey, this version will come later – unfortunately for all Apple computer users. In the last few hours, articles appeared in our magazine in which we focused on basic tips and tricks from the mentioned systems. In this article, we take a look at 5 tips and tricks for watchOS 8.

Activating a forget notification

Are you one of those people who keep forgetting something? If you answered yes to this question and you often forget to take your own head out of the house, along with your iPhone or MacBook, then I have great news for you. As part of watchOS 8 (and iOS 15), Apple came up with a new function that can alert you when you forget a device or object. If you activate this function and move away from the selected device or object, you will receive a notification of this fact directly on your watch and you will be able to return in time. To set up, on an Apple Watch with watchOS 8, go to the app Find device whether Find an item. Here you are unclick the device or object and using the switch activate Notify about forgetting.

Sharing in Photos

If you open the native Photos app in watchOS 7, you can view a selection of photos that you can customize in the Watch app on iPhone. In watchOS 8, the Photos app has received a nice redesign. In addition to selecting photos, you can also view memories or recommended photos, just like on an iPhone. So once you have a long moment, you can view memories or other recommended photos right on your wrist. And if you want to share a photo, just tap on share icon at the bottom right. Subsequently you select a contact or application, through which you want to share the content and follow the instructions. Photos can be shared via News whether Mail

Great Concentration

Virtually all new operating systems include a new Focus mode, which can be defined as the original Do Not Disturb mode on steroids. As part of Concentration, you can now create several different modes, which can also be customized individually. You can set, for example, which contact will allow you, or which application will be able to send you a notification. And that's not all - Focus modes are now synced across all your devices. For example, if you create a mode on your iPhone, you will automatically have it on your Apple Watch, iPad or Mac (and vice versa). The same applies to (de)activating the mode, i.e. if you turn Focus on or off on the Apple Watch, it will also be turned on or off on your other devices. In watchOS 8, Focus mode can be (de)activated by going to control center, where you tap on moon icon.

Setting the portrait face

With the arrival of each new version of the watchOS operating systems, Apple also comes with new watch faces that you can set. As part of watchOS 8, one new watch face is now available, namely Portrait. As the name suggests, this dial uses portrait photos. An object that is in the foreground in portrait mode will be displayed in the Portrait dial before the time and date itself, which creates an interesting effect. Of course, the location of the time and date is automatically selected using artificial intelligence, so that you do not see this crucial information at all. For settings, go from the app Watch, where you open the section below Watch faces gallery. Click here portraits, Choose photos, complications and a dial add

Create more minutes

You have been able to set a minute on the Apple Watch for a long time, which is useful, for example, if you want to take a nap or if you are cooking something. However, if you found yourself in a situation where you needed to set multiple minutes at once, you couldn't. As part of watchOS 8, however, this restriction is no longer valid, so to set multiple minutes, simply go to the application minutes, where you can already set them all.
