The iPhone 13 (Pro) series went on pre-sale at 14 p.m. on Friday. Are you considering a purchase, but are still hesitating about what the new generation of phone will bring you? So here are 5 reasons to upgrade your existing device to the iPhone 13, or iPhone 13 Pro, whether you have an iPhone 12, 11 or even older.
Cameras
Apple says the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini feature "the most advanced dual camera ever" with a new wide-angle camera that collects 47% more light, resulting in less noise and brighter results. Apple has also added sensor-shift optical image stabilization to all new iPhones, which was a prerogative of the iPhone 12 Pro Max.
At the same time, there is an engaging Film mode, Photo styles, and the Pro models also come with the ability to capture ProRes video. In addition, their ultra-wide-angle camera captures 92% more light, the telephoto lens has triple optical zoom and has learned night mode.
More storage
Last year's iPhones 12 and 12 mini included 64GB of basic storage. This year, however, Apple decided to increase it, which is why you already get 128 GB in the base. Paradoxically, you will buy more for less money, because news items are generally cheaper. The iPhone 13 Pro models then expanded their line with 1TB of storage. Therefore, if you are extremely demanding on data and intend to make visual recordings in ProRes, this is the ideal capacity for you, which will not limit you in any way.
Battery life
Apple promises 1,5 hours more battery life for the 13 mini and 13 Pro models compared to their previous versions, and up to 2,5 hours more for the iPhone 13 and 13 Pro Max, compared to the iPhone 12 and 12 Pro Max. For example, on the iPhone 13 Pro Max specification page, you can read that this company's largest iPhone can handle up to 28 hours of video playback, which is 8 hours more than its predecessor. Although it is a typical "paper" figure, on the other hand, there is no reason not to trust Apple that the endurance will really be higher.
Display
If we're only talking about a smaller cutout, it probably won't convince anyone too much. However, if we are talking about the display of the iPhone 13 Pro, which now has ProMotion technology with an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, the situation is different. This technology will cause a more pleasant and smooth experience of using the device. And if you have it active for several hours a day, you will definitely appreciate this. The 13 Pro models also reach a maximum brightness of 1000 nits, the 13 models 800 nits. For previous generations, it was 800 and 625 nits, respectively. Using it in direct sunlight will be all the more comfortable.
Price
As already mentioned, the new generations are cheaper than last year's ones. Model after model it does either one thousand one or one thousand two, which is definitely not a reason to upgrade. The reason for this is that the device you currently own continues to age and thus its price also falls. And since the new pre-sale is already underway, there is nothing more sensible than to get rid of your older iPhone as soon as possible - put it on the bazaars and try to sell it before its price drops even more. This year, the official prices will no longer be messed with, and the next ideal time to sell will practically be a year from now.
- Newly introduced Apple products will be available for purchase at, for example Alge, Mobile Emergency or u iStores
lol where is my question? and where is my answer? well played :) good luck with iphone 13, imho there is no point in upgrading at all. it doesn't have a periscope camera, it's not made of titanium, and the battery technology is still the same. You don't have to wait for a breakthrough product that comes once every 10 years, in any case, don't buy blindly. This is an article for apple shareholders and not for customers :) macworld rag
I'll take care of myself
Why didn't you just write that you didn't have the money for it? .-) One sentence was enough and you saved yourself work :-)
It's always the same phone as a year ago. As a matter of fact, in the cycle of a new model every year, it cannot be lit every year. And Standa, yes, I allowed myself to have my own opinion, it's called critical thinking. I will not answer your question because it is not relevant. I'll just write that for the money it costs, I want a reason to buy such a machine. I'm going to overthink and write again - if I want to rdp in windows, I have to download an application, while ios is a Unix clone, if I want to share the screen I can via apple tv, if I want to play a video, I can only use samba thanks to the wolf. I don't want apple tv. So if on the one hand there is a nice phone, on the other hand its usability must be higher than on the basis of "its not a bug, its a feature". Try to understand it and if I offended your love of apples, then put up with it. I'll take care of myself
… and the experience of the past is that the commercial success of the new iPhone does not depend so much on technological innovations as on a certain period and generational change. Few people change their iphone (car, tv, …) every year, right?
Yes, and I am definitely one of them. And when I'm looking for a phone, the first thing I look for is a durable case, and above all, I look at the processing. the iphone is an excellent machine, I promise, it has performance, just the battery and the upgrade, and that's why I'm not going for ios15, and if I do, it's only because I can call Android via facetime, which in my opinion is an option worth mentioning. Eh macro, eh beautiful rounded display, eh it doesn't break my heart. I like support such as patches and new ios versions, I don't like the overall implementation, but I have a choice to upgrade or not, I choose not. I'll take care of myself
With your permission, one more note. Everyone who downloaded the invitation to the last apple event and opened it in notes saw that the machine from which the invitation was sent has the high sierra operating system, the first one arrived in 2017. Why wasn't it Monterey, by analogy why buy an iPhone 13 when the iPhone X or 11 is fine. Let everyone spend all their money on whatever they want :)
You're a douche dude. Those who want will buy, those who don't will drive the old one. Innovation is really enough for me.
