The Apple Watch is a great companion and helper. Their operation is not complicated at all, and most users will certainly quickly learn a number of useful tricks from the very beginning. We will introduce you to some of the lesser known ones in our today's article.

Dock as application launcher

You don't have to launch apps on your Apple Watch just with the help of Siri or from the list after pressing the digital crown. If you press the side button on the side of your watch, you'll see a Dock with recently used apps that you can move between by turning the digital crown. When you scroll all the way down, you can switch to view all apps.

School Time mode for better productivity

Would you sometimes like to have nothing really disturb you while you work, but the ordinary Do Not Disturb mode simply isn't enough? If you have an Apple Watch running watchOS 7, you can try School Time mode for better focus and productivity. Swipe up from the bottom of the screen and tap on the icon of the character reporting to the Control Center. If you can't find this icon here, click Edit in the Control Center, select the School Time mode icon in the icon selection, and add it to the Control Center. When you activate Time at School mode, all notifications on your iPhone and Apple Watch will be turned off, you can end the mode by turning the digital crown.

Manage notifications

For Apple Watch with the watchOS 5 operating system and later, you can better control notifications directly from the Notification Center. Slide the notification card to the left - you will see a button with a cross to remove it and a button with three dots for management. By tapping the button with three dots, you can choose whether notifications from the respective app will be delivered silently or not at all on your Apple Watch.

Change watch faces directly on the display

With the arrival of the watchOS 7 operating system, you also get much more options when it comes to watch face management. Not only the interface for editing the watch face as such has changed, but now you can also add new watch faces directly from the display of your Apple Watch without having to launch the Watch application on the paired iPhone. Long press the current watch face and scroll the display of your watch to the left until you see a window that says New and a “+” icon. Tap the icon, rotate the digital crown of the watch to select the desired face and tap to add it.
