4 tips and tricks for Carrot Weather that every user should know

Carrot Weather is among the most popular iOS weather forecasting apps – and no wonder. It offers a lot of great features and options, is reliable, highly customizable, and last but not least, also really funny and original. In today's article, I will introduce four tips and tricks, mainly used to customize this great application.

Customize the interface

If you take a deep look into the settings of the Carrot Weather app, you might be surprised at how many customization options it actually offers. IN lower right corner tap on the Carrot Weather main screen settings icon. And middle part tap the item layout and then in the section sections click on Edit. Long press three line icons for individual items, you can change their position by tapping on Spacing to adjust the spacing, tap on Section you add a new section.

Preset interfaces

You don't dare to create your own interface from scratch, but would still like to change the existing appearance of the application? In that case, stay in the section for a while longer layout in the application settings. This time you tap v upper part of the display na the blue My Layouts button – you will see layout suggestions that you can activate immediately, or have a preview of them displayed.

Change the source of the information

In its basic settings, the Carrot Weather application uses the Dark Sky meteorological platform as a source of weather forecast information. However, if this platform does not suit you - for whatever reason - there is no problem in changing it. IN lower right corner in the main window of the Carrot Weather application, click on settings icon av menu tap the item Source. Here you can choose from several other alternative forecast sources, or choose your own weather station.

Change the appearance of icons and fonts

In the Carrot Weather application, you can also change the appearance of the icons for individual weather conditions, as well as the font of the font. How to do it? On main page tap the app again the settings icon in the lower right corner. In menu, which appears, select an item Display – here you can set the switch between light and dark mode, change the appearance of the set of icons or choose a different font, or change its size.
