The Just Press Record app is a great tool for both those who record on a daily basis, as well as users who take an audio recording once in a while. On iPhone, iPad and Mac, it can convert speech to text from individual voice recordings, which can be useful mainly when taking short voice recordings. The application can record both in lower quality M4A format and in WAV format, there is support for external microphones or those in Bluetooth headphones. Recordings are synchronized via iCloud, so you can access them anytime, anywhere. As for the Apple Watch version, you can take and play recordings on your wrist, the application also has a simple complication, tap on it to start recording.

This software comes from the workshop of a Czech developer and is a very interesting application. In addition to the synchronization of recordings via iCloud or the possibility of editing audio, you can mark any part of the recording in Audio Recorder and scroll through the marks. Of course, there is also a great application for the Apple Watch. Although Audio Recorder is free, you have to activate a subscription to access all the features, which in the end won't blow your wallet that much. Specifically, these amounts are 59 CZK per month or 280 CZK per year.

If you are looking for quality software for speech recognition in recordings, Dictaphone is a suitable candidate. It transcribes speech from recordings to text, both from applications taken directly and from imported files. You can of course edit the text afterwards. This software also has support for the Apple Watch. Although Dictaphone works for free, the biggest problem is that you cannot share voice recordings. You have to pay for many features, and unfortunately you can't buy or subscribe to the full version straight away - you have to buy each feature separately.
